Sep 3rdJust a quick note ...Testimonials from 2010 have now been uploaded, and a list of speakers and abstracts from 2010. This is only vaguely accurate, because things changed on the day and records weren't kept. Gentle chaos. Early-bird bookings will be closing this week, so make sure you've reserved your room and paid! You only get the discount if you pay. That's about it - please let me know if you find anything on the web site that doesn't work and I'll do what I can to fix it promptly.
May 31st: Bookings update ...Just thought we'd give an update on how the bookings are getting on.It's been 10 days since we announced the prices, and the response has been fantastic. We have 100 rooms available and already 27 of them have been reserved, and 15 have been paid for. In 10 days. Now, we don't expect that the pace will continue - we'd be fully booked out by July 27th at that rate, and we don't expect that to happen. Even so, things are moving along nicely. We're not yet sure when the early-bird rate will close, but we'll aim to give at least 2 weeks warning. The monthly MathsJam meetings are really starting to catch on as well, so if you want to know what the MathsJam is like, visit one of them. You can find them on the front page. So that's it for now. May 21st: Prices - at long last.Oh, so sorry about the delay. It's taken ages to try to get the prices negotiated and at a reasonable level, but the results aren't too bad.Firstly, there is an early bird discount (again) of 10%. Additionally, there is an unwaged discount of another 10% of the full price. If you claim both, that's 20%, not just 19%. It seemed simpler that way. Secondly, we have twin rooms, so delegates can share if they like. Non-delegates can again be accommodated, but this time (unfortunately) meals (apart from breakfast) will be extra. If you dine with the delegates, it's cheaper to be a delegate. Thirdly, day delegate rates have risen disproportionately. It's a result of the change in venue, and there's nothing we can do about it.
